Former European Tour Pro David Edwards and his outrageous demonstration of golfing trick shots will keep the crowds entertained off the course during the Dubai World Championship presented by DP World.
Play is already underway at the Earth course and while tens of thousands are expected to follow the exploits of stars such as Luke Donald, Rory McIlory, Lee Westwood, Martin Kaymer and Robert Karlsson, for those chilling in the Championship Village the tournament has laid on a variety of entertainment options.
Regarded as the best trick show entertainer in the world, Edwards currently holds the world record for his famous Scissor Hands shots – 310 balls in just three minutes – which will be one of the many stunts set to wow the crowds as well as intrigued professionals who happen to stroll by the driving range. Edwards’ unique talents will be on display today, tomorrow and Saturday at 12.45pm and 3pm and on Sunday at 12.45pm only.
Edwards will also show off his talents with a variety of unusual clubs including a doub le headed iron, a club with the head of a hammer, extra long drivers and clubs with rubber shafts.
Entrance to the tournament is free of charge to the public who can register for tickets on this website.
