The Dubai World Championship Village is abuzz with fun and interactive games this weekend.

One of the highlights of the village is the free golf lessons on offer.  In association with Nike Golf and Sun, Sand & Sports, the ten minute golf lessons are perfect for newcomers to the sport and those looking to brush up on their game alike as they take some time away from watching the action on the course.

Each golfer is taught by a professional golfer from the Emirates Golf Foundation; they are also emailed a video of their lesson, allowing the opportunity to look back over the tips picked up.

Commenting after enjoying the free lesson, Ed Poultney said:

“I’ve played golf a few times before, about 5 or 6 times, but never had lessons.  Today I was starting with the basics and learning how to improve my grip.  After just ten minutes, I could already see the difference in my game. It was great – very useful!

“There’s a great atmosphere here at Championship Village, we’re really impressed with the set-up and activities on offer.”

Free golf-lessons from Emirates Golf Foundation are available for those of all levels.  Find the area at Championship Village at the Dubai World Championship, open from 9.30am daily throughout the tournament.
