Competition Entry Terms and Conditions
1. ENTRY: No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Limit of one entry per person. This European Tour competition begins October 14th 2010 and ends November 14th 2010 (the “Competition Period”). All entries must be made in person through the Dubai World Championship website www.dubaiworldchampionship.com, via a Business Card Drop. To be eligible, all mandatory fields on the entry forms must be fully and legibly completed. European Tour is not responsible for entries that for any reason are lost, late, damaged, misdirected, illegible, incomplete or stolen. Entries become the property of The European Tour and will not be acknowledged or returned.
2. ELIGIBILITY: The competition is open to those who are 21 years of age or older. Employees of the European Tour and the immediate families (spouse and parents, children and siblings and their spouses) or persons living in the same household of such individuals are ineligible.
3. DRAWING: The winner will be selected by a random draw of eligible entries. The draw will take place on the 15th November 2010 from among all eligible entries legitimately received. Entries in the prize draw will be taken from competitions run through www.dubaiworldchampionship.com and Business Card drop. Results shall be final and binding.
4. PRIZE: 1 Return Ticket from any Emirates Destination (must be a direct flight), inclusive of all airport transfers and 5 nights’ accommodation at the Atlantis, November 24th to 29th, 2010 inclusive, BMW Chauffeur Drive during the stay, Hospitality at the Tournament each day, The Best Seat in the House.
5. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS: No cash redemptions or prize substitutions will be permitted. The winner is not permitted to sell or transfer the Prize. Prize shall only be used by the winner and their nominated guest. The winner and their nominated companion are responsible for payment of all taxes on the Prize and for any other expenses related to the acceptance and use of the Prize not specifically stated herein. The Air Ticket is non refundable for cash or credit, non transferable and non-changeable once issued. The winner must be able to travel on the dates as stated by the European Tour and if this is not possible it will result in prize forfeiture and selection of an alternate winner. If any part of the Prize is lost, it will not be replaced. The Prize winner and travel companion are responsible for required government travel documents such as passports, visas and similar documents, and must travel on the itinerary as provided by the European Tour. All incidental expenditure not outlined in section 4 including food and beverage is the responsibility and cost of the Prize winner.
6. NOTIFICATION: The winner will be notified by email, phone call or express mail following the draw. If requested, the winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit or Declaration of Eligibility Liability Release and Publicity Release (in the form provided by the European Tour) within 10 days of the date of notification. Failure to timely return the documents as specified, or return of any prize notification, will result in prize forfeiture and selection of an alternate winner. Nominated companion of the Prize winner must be 21 or older (unless express consent is provided by the European Tour in writing in its sole discretion) and execute a Liability Release and where Publicity Release within a specified time prior to issuance of travel documents.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By participating, entrants agree: (A) to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the decisions of the European Tour and judges which shall be final in all respects, (B) to be contacted by the European Tour by mail, telephone and/or email: (C) to release, discharge and hold harmless European Tour, and their respective, subsidiaries, associates, affiliates, holding companies (whether direct or indirect) officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents and others associated with the development and execution of this Competition from all liability, injuries, losses or damages of any kind (including consequential or special damages) to persons including death or property howsoever resulting in whole or part, directly or indirectly from the acceptance, possession, misuse or use of a prize or participation in the competition: (D) if a winner, to grant European Tour the right to post name and photo as a winner on the www.dubaiworldchampionship.com website or affiliated website or the use of his/her name, photo, biographical data and/or likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation and upon request agrees to provide consent in writing to such use; and (E) that the foregoing parties have not made any representation, warranty or guaranty, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to a prize and any portion thereof.
8. PRIVACY: The European Tour is committed to respecting and protecting the entrant’s right to privacy and recognizes entrant’s need for appropriate protection and management of any personally identifiable information that is provided by an entrant. The European Tour will not sell, rent, loan or give entrant’s email address or other personal information to any third party other than Commercial Partners of the Dubai World Championship, without entrant’s permission. By entering the competition the entrant agrees to be contacted by European Tour, its affiliates and subsidiaries. All recipients of an email from the European Tour, its affiliates and subsidiaries may opt out of receiving emails at any time – normally at the bottom of each email to by sending an email to info@dubaiworldchampionship.com.
